Your short links are cached for 24 h. Support must disable a scam link worldwide within 60 s. How does your design do it?
The design you’re given
- Browser → CDN, which keeps each redirect for 24 hours
- CDN → Redirect service, when it has no copy
- Redirect service → Redis, then the links store when Redis has no entry
- Redirects are sent as 301s
- On delete: remove the row and the Redis entry
